Since most of his elves are sick with the flu, Santa thought this year he'd try something new. But these little puppies would much rather play, than help with the toys to fill up his sleigh! This was great fun to paint, I love being able to paint a story line with all the little details like the Corgi sleeping inside the bag. When figuring out the different positions of the puppies I used tracing paper, sketched out each little guy and moved them around Santa until I found a workable design. My favorite Corgi puppy is the one on Santa's foot, love the fun loving grin.
